We're sorry, but this item may be out of stock. Our sales dept will contact you.
Detailed Description
Our Carbon Circles offer many advantages over the products
currently on the market and include:
- More tackiness.
- No inter-nonconductive stiffeners (i.e. solid adhesive).
- Lower contaminantes under EDS, have a very small amount of
nickel (0.6%) and copper at < 0.3%.
- Made locally in the U.S.A.
- Sold packaged or in bulk.
Carbon Circles are very popular and may be used in place of
other conductive adhesives in many applications in conventional
and field emission microscopes. They are also widely used in forensic
laboratories for the study of gunshot residues. Without additional
conductive coating, small nonconductive particles can often be
imaged and X-Ray analyzed cutting down your analysis time.
This product is made by laminating two different density carbon
products so that one side (usually where the sample will be) is
very smooth, and the other side acts as a substantial layer adding
strength. Note that this product can also be made into a tape, but
due to the two layers it is generally more expensive. As alternatives to this product, please view our Carbon Tape and our Conductive Lift-N-Press(TM)Tabs.
These particular tabs are nominally 24 mm in diameter. We also carry similar tabs that are 12 mm in diameter. The link for those tabs can be found below.
